James 1:22(NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 1 John 3:18(NKJV) 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. Patient Endurance & Faithfulness (v.10-11) 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. Galatians 6:9(NKJV) 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Hebrews 10:36-39(NKJV) 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” • Hold Fast Hebrews 10:23(NKJV) 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. For consider what great things he has done for you. • Take away questions: • How do you measure the Word or what lens do you use to look at the Word? • What doors has Christ opened for you to make Him known in your life and world? • How have you allowed yourself to be distracted from living fully for Christ by not having the right influence, enough money, or status? • In what areas of your life do you need God to empower you and give you courage to live for Him in a greater way? • In what ways can you set your mind to patiently endure for Christ? • How is Jesus showing up in a real and personal way in your life? What is He speaking to you? • What is your biggest take away from this message and series so far?
